The Slow Workshop
Live Online Workshop - now available as recording with bonus videos/materials
Originally recorded on May 16
This live workshop is now over but the recording can still be found in paid members libraries or can be purchased below.
I’ve been looking again at the idea of pace, partly inspired by Carl Honoré’s work on the “slow movement.” Not as philosophy alone, but as something practical we can test in the body.
In Tai Chi - going slow - is almost synonymous with the art, but how useful is just "going slow" and what else shoould we be doing than simply slowing down?
In this one-hour session, we’ll explore slow, as something you can feel in your body, in your breath, and in your timing.
We’ll explore:
- how different speeds change your movement
- why slower isn’t always better
- and how to use pace to sharpen awareness, not dull it
Session includes:
- Discussion
- Practices
- And exercises you can take straight into your own practice.
- Plus additional bonus content of videos and stories.
How to register and cost
- Free for members (It's already added to your library)
- £10 for non-members.
